Painting Techniques - Foam pads, Posca pens and Brushes
We have put together some information and step by step guides on a variety of techniques you can use when painting and finishing your wooden makes from us
For this you will need
Your chosen wooden item, paints, glitters, laquer spray, paint tray/tub, posca pens, foam pad brushes, and paint brushes (medium flat and small fine tip)
Step one - you will want to get your chosen paint colour for the base colour along with the medium square paint brush and foam pad brush

Once dry apply another 1-2 coats of paint
Once dry you can now decorate
Technique with Posca pens (video sound on)
Technique with fine brush (video sound on)
Paint your base (video sound on)
There is no need to paint the middle if you don't want. You can paint the underneath again if wanted
Once you have done 2-3 coats on the base you can then add your tealight into the stand
You can now decorate with glitters if wanted
Glitter finished
You can now finish and protect your item with lacquer spray
in either gloss or matt finish
You can then decorate with gems, pearls etc if you wish
